Meiko and the Grove is home to the multi-media project by Carolyn Tennant

A work in progress, Meiko and the Grove is an experimental documentary that examines archives, orphaned films, and the life of Muriel Orr-Ewing (1900 -1994), also known as Meiko. It uses as one of its sources a collection of 16mm home movies produced by Meiko during the late 1950s and 60s, which document her activities and travels, as well as the lives of her students at The Grove, a finishing school that she ran south east of London after WWII.

Orr-Ewing's paper archives are housed at the University at Buffalo Libraries Archival and Manuscript Collection.
